We invite you to experience the power of the medicine wheel: an ancient Native American tool for giving us a deeper understanding of not only ourselves, but also our connection to plants, animals, minerals, intentions—and life itself. With this private, guided medicine wheel experience, you'll explore the self in a quiet setting that's free from the distractions of daily life.
This is an exclusive 1-2 hour experience where only those booked into the event will be there with you. We'll meet in a private location that will not be interrupted or witnessed by anyone other than your group. Maximum group is 4 people due to limited space. There is a 2 person minimum.
This private, guided experience includes:
· An orientation from our instructor about how to interpret the anatomical structure of the medicine wheel. Then, we'll look at each quadrant and see what its symbols mean.
· Short exercises throughout the orientation that allow you to dig deeper into what felt personally meaningful to you, along with allotted time to go back over your notes and diagrams to familiarize yourself even more with the medicine wheel.
· Guided meditations to help you connect with your inner wisdom and guidance, along with optional exercises that can deepen your understanding of the journey.
· A booklet with instructions for performing the exercises is included, so that you can use it whenever you want to repeat them.
We're so excited to get started on your medicine wheel experience! Before you arrive, please just make sure that you wear layers, bring sunscreen, a hat, water and sunglasses. The desert can be unpredictable, so it's best to be prepared for all kinds of weather.

Yoga Nidra (or Yogic Sleep) is among the deepest possible states of relaxation, while still maintaining consciousness. 1 hour of Yoga Nidra is said to equate to 4 hours of sleep. Yoga Nidra encourages profound relaxation and effortlessness.
Imagine lying comfortably, directly grounded on the red earth, surrounded by nature with a view of the glorious Sedona Red Rocks.
All you must do is remain still, listen to my voice, and try to STAY AWAKE!
You will be guided through an 8 stage, detailed sleep meditation that will allow your mind and body to slip into a deep state of relaxation.
- Internalization
- Sankalpa or Resolve (which will be explained and created in class)
- Rotation of consciousness
- Breath awareness
- Manifestation of opposites
- Creative visualization
- Sankalpa
- Externalization
Besides being a wonderful form of relaxation, Yoga Nidra can help us to clear out the samskaras stored in our bodies. Samskaras are the imprints left on the subconscious mind by experience in this or previous lives.
A typical session lasts about an hour and there can be a group of 1 to 8 people at one time. There is a 2 person minimum.
NOTE: you do not need to share anything personal with the group.
Yoga mats and blankets will be provided. Please wear layers, bring water, sunscreen, and sunglasses (or something else to cover your eyes if you’re sensitive to the sun).
